Hearst Museum object titled Pecking bird toy, accession number 3-28900, described as Toy. Bird with jointed tail and head, eating from an acorn cap. Crudely carved balsa wood, painted, mounted on narrow platform with slots for thread which activates the tail and head. A weight, now missing, usually attached to thread. Length 7 cm, height 4.5 cm.
