: Hearst Museum object titled Badge, accession number 2-34013, described as Gilt veteran foreman’s badge. Shield shaped with antique fire pumper and “Veteran Firemen’s Association New York” engraved on front. “Presented to Mrs Howard Coit by James A. Monghan of Veteran Fireman’s Association of New York City. A W Mitchell, Marker, 757 Broadway, N.Y.” is inscribed on the back.

: Hearst Museum object titled Bag, accession number 2-19596, described as Front of strap and pouch has fully beaded floral design in multicolor glass "seed" beads on white ground; 9 multicolor bead pendants with various colored silk ribbons attached to bottom, one each side; backing of green commercial cotton cloth partially gone; inside of bag is a lining of black/biege print cotton cloth.
