Hearst Museum object titled Burden basket, accession number 1-71506, described as Burden basket, plain openwork twined. Basket has a willow hoop reinforcing it at rim and 2 cloth straps near rim. Two leather straps are attached about half - way down. There is a reinforcing rim around the lower portion of basket. Basket is without decoration. Point has been worn through.
