Hearst Museum object titled Figurine, accession number 3-31047, described as TEODORA BLANCO FIGURE:  Figure of a woman, terracotta, hand molded.  Figure is wearing a floor length dress with conical skirt decorated with  an applied apron and 2 large applied flower and leaves, stems and bud extending from bottom of apron to chest. She wears a traditional head cloth under a mano and metate, which rests on top of her head.  She wears, pendant earrings and a sting of applied beads around her neck.  At her hemline small feet peek out from under her skirt. She holds a goose in her proper left hand and a vessel with a pig’s face  and rope handle.  Facial features are a combination of applied, modeled and incised. She has a long braid down the back of her head extending almost to the hem of her skirt.  Figure the number “7” is written in blue ink, also inside skirt.  NOTE:  Head cloth and matate/mano on top of head are loose and need stabilization.
