Hearst Museum object titled Candlestick, accession number 9-22695, described as ceramic candle stick; terracotta clay; glazed with a variegated grey/blue/brown glaze.  formed with a shallow bowl base with flared rim, pedestal center stem flared at top to hold a candle and with a strap handle attached to sit at the stem and rim.  stem is hollow and top has a shallow, flat floor with a hole in the middle.  exterior; only 1/2 is glazed; formed base with center opening.  opening is glazed to within 1/2 inch of base.
