Hearst Museum object titled Apron, accession number 2-63385, described as Apron, of warp printed silk ribbons of purple pin stripes on white with printed purple rose motifs with green leaves, yellow buds. Ribbon borders are purple satin wave, ribbons are joined by off white linen lace insertions (possibly Maltese lace) of floral motifs connected by braided brides. Apron edged in matching lace, as is free hanging pointed pocket tacked on right side. Pentagonal apron with center point is attached at top (in 12 tucks) to purple silk velvet ribbon with satin weave back. Velvet ribbon serves as sash.
