Hearst Museum object titled Oil lamp (?), accession number 9-16465a,b, described as Oil lamp (?), jar and lid, small.  Jar inverted pear-shaped with wide mouth.  Both pieces glazed porcelain:  jar pale blue color mottled with black and tan from interior and exterior rim;  lid pale blue exterior unglazed interior.  Lid spouted form: disk-shaped base, cylindrical spout.  Grainy particles attached to foot of jar [on back of card:  jar 7.75 cm. max. diam.  Lid 5.1 cm. diam. (at base).] Donor attributes to Late Joseon / Choson dynasty (18th or 19th cent.).
