Allen Pepperbox, marked "Allen's Patent" on left side of hammer. 6 shot, Caliber .31. Self-cocking, bar hammer, round ribbed barrels. Non-functional, heavily corroded.

: Hearst Museum object titled Pistol, accession number 7-1605, described as Pistol, flintlock; caliber about 17.5mm.(.69'') smoothbore. Marked "ON" on lockplate. Underside of barrel marked with Liege (Belgium) proof marks. Fitted with a lanyard loop. Flint still intact. Uncertain age; this could be an "original" military pistol or it could be a much more replica.

Lindsay’s “Young America”, Cal. .45 smoothbore. 81/4 part octagonal, part round barrel. 12” overall. Marked “Lindsay’s Young America patented Oct. 9 1860”. Superimposed charges ignited by action of two hammers. Extremely rare. Tested and declined by the United States Army during the Civil War. However, the Army accepted rifles of similar design from Lindsay.

: Hearst Museum object titled Pistol, accession number 7-1604, described as pistol, flintlock; caliber about 17.5mm. smoothbore. Marked on the lockplate with what appears to be Persian letters. Fitted with a lanyard loop on its butt, typical of many military issue pistols. Uncertain manufacture, but almost certainly Belgian, as this gun is otherwise identical to 7-1605.
