Hearst Museum object titled Cloth, accession number 9-18242, described as Length of cloth: black background with multicolored stripes; cloth deteriorating and ripping throughout. This type of long, relatively narrow cloth is probably used for man’s loin cloth; cloth sold at Saigon Montagnard market. Made from machine woven, warp-faced plain weave cotton; synthetic dyes; this cloth is probably cut from a bold of fabric.
