Description:
Cradle; twined. Warp is Redbud (), weft is Sedge (Carex) and Willow (Salix). Soap root (Chlorogalum pomeridianum) stiffening. Hooded cradle, made of small wooden rods and twine. Also note that the whole cradle, particularly the hood, is stiffened and rendered fairly tight by the application of hot soaproot juice.
