The mountains in the distance are the Rakko Range and upon Mount Maya, the highest point shown, is the famous Temple dedicated to Madam Maya, the Mother of Buddha. From this high point a panoramic view unfolds itself, with Kobe in the foreground, and beyond, Osaka and the Mountain of Kii.
