Sifter basket; twined. Warp is Hazel (Corylus cornuta californica), weft is Sugar pine (Pinus lambertiana). White pattern is Beargrass (Xerophyllum tenax). Grimy from use. After 3 strand portion in center was twined, it was twined over and warps added. Designs are on inside of basket. Plain twined. Almost completely overlain with white single faced overlay, floated on back. Repeating zigzag design.
