Blanket (all-purpose cloth used for wrap, hammock, baby carrier, etc.): indigo ground; patterned bands of fine geometric designs and stripes on broad strip of red ground on both ends of blanket (there is a continual variation in pattern in these bands). Made from 4 pieces of handwoven cotton hand-stitched together; natural dyes (indigo and cocchineal red (?)); black weft thread; supplementary warp design; rolled hand-stitched hems.
