MATERIALS, TECHNIQUES: Backstrap-loomed with cotton threads: singles in dark blue. Suppl. weft in silk floss and cotton. Iconography is geometric horizontal bands. CONTEXT OF USE: Central band called "arco grande" in San Antonio Aguas Calientes. Some other similar designs woven in San Antonio in different colors. Randas at sides and arco grande in purple, green and gold in central band indicate ceremonial use. Head decoration has been taken off.
