Round basket with wide wooden (bamboo) rim and bamboo stabilizing bands (2 inside, 1 outside) overlapping and/or below the rim. Basket is a herringbone weave. 4.5" rim is attached to the basket with woven raffia segments 3.0-4.5cm wide, separated by blank spaces 2.0 to 3.5 cm wide. Where the rim overlaps a woven, saw tooth band 9.3cm long joins the ends. 1972
