Three large circular panels with human figures and garden scenes depicted within: 1 courtly female with 2 handmaidens, one holding fan (?) from which clouds issue; another with 3 males, one under parasol; the last depicts man with fly whisk with woman. All with trees and rocks in background. Panels outlined with gilt line. Three blue enamel floral scroll designs on flange. White ground. Dark spots in surface of glaze. “Made in China” on paper sticker on base. Designs reversed on companion piece 9-13417. Figures may represent the mythical meeting of Hsi Wang Mu, Queen mother of the West, with Emperor Wu Ti.
