Blade; gray stone; both sides polished; long, narrow shape; length 10.5 cm. Wood working adze blade. Used for cutting out holes and grooves, as in the making of a canoe or a yam house or a house. One end may have also been used as a hammerstone. Archaeological patination. Native name: ginesosu (attributed). Made of metamorphosed basalt.
