Round, flat bottomed, straight sided. Coiled grass; lined with floral silk cloth; faded blue and straw-colored rectangles on sides of basket. Base damaged and breaking away. Made with a Japanese silk kimono fragment. Grass is wild rye grass leaves (Elymus mollis).
