Comment:
No piece count in ledger; piece count based on plural description. Cat. number crossed out in red pencil. L-17814 and L-17815 bracketed together and "fit" and "1 specimen" written in red pencil. "Found" written in next to cat. number in ledger, refers to handwritten note in the front of the first volume of the Lillard ledger. The note reads: "Started checking specimens present in collection at U.C.M.A. on 3/8/50. Those present are marked "found" in back of catalogue number. W. Pendry".
