[Small globular coiled basket with brown anthropomorphic designs on natural ground. 4-2003]. Per Ralph Shanks: Redbud and sedge. Weft fag ends visible. The weft fag ends are clipped, which is not done by Pomo weavers. Is from the Central California area. Bird type design with diamonds. Looks to be woven by two people, the start is by a more skilled person than whoever wove the rest of basket. Could be 1-70837.
