basket with lid; grass in coiling technique on bundle core; wide stitching, both inter & interlocking type; natural color with black designs; herring bone over-stitch rims; a) basket; sub-globular shape with bulging base; b) lid; flattened beehive shape with knob; overall height 17.5 cm; diameter base 13 cm. Native name: Ekigega. Used by men and women for storage. Collected July 1967.
