Description:
Netsuke: Carved ivory figure of Oni (demon), seated, stroking head with right hand and holding a smiling, female mask between the legs. The oni has horns, fangs and long hair. Incised spider web pattern on robe which is gathered at waist. Ribs, backbone show on back. Hole for cord is formed by the crook of arm. Stain and black in incised lines.
