Coin; AR; Sassanian. 4.15 grams, 29 mm. Shapur I. Obverse: Bust in candys, wearing turret crown surmounted by globe, with ear flaps, bearded. Reverse: Fire altar; to sides, a spiked crowned figure with long staff and wearing baggy pantaloons. Remarks: "Wide variation in inscriptions and frequently erroneous.
