Description:

Per Ralph Shanks: Tourist type basket. Beargrass commercial dyed in green and purple. The basket once had a handle. Selvage is made of bound down warps to form reinforcing rod at rim. Right slant weft twist, plain twine. Cross warps start. 7 horizontal bands, all purple, except top is both green and purple.
