Description:
Tray basket; twined. Warp is Hazel (Corylus cornuta californica), weft is Conifer (Pinophyta). White pattern is Beargrass (Xerophyllum tenax). Per Ralph Shanks: Large, shallow circular basket. Beargrass overlay on conifer root weft. At starting knot 3 strand twining, but bulk of basket is plain twined. 2 rows of 3 strand twining inch below rim. On bottom 4 concentric reinforcing rods.
