Shawl; Kashmir shawl fully embroidered in multicolor curvilinear designs on red “twill-tapestry” ground; fringed multicolor embroidered panels along all 4 edges; 2 meters x 2.5 meters. Shawl was once worn at Russian ball at Union Hall, San Francisco, November 17, 1863.
