- probably an individual of no great social distinction who was laid on floor of "burial" cave or rockshelter and not suspended from ceiling or artificial scaffolding as would be a person of high rank (thus accounting for dorsal deterioration due to contact with moisture). This is speculation due to lack of provenience and associated wrappings (from catalog card)
