a - Traditional Japanese rain cape or "mino" woven from sedge ("miyamakansuge," scientific name Cyperaceae carex) and linden ("shina") bast, 1955. Also called "hirorimino." b - Waraji (?) woven from rice straw ("wara"), 1947. Both made by Koike-san.
