Small flaring hemispherical coiled basket. Tag: "Yuki". Per Ralph Shanks: Coiled flaring basket bowl, probably used for sifting, with large amounts of food debris. The basket has a knotted start. The basket has a 3 rod coil foundation. The wefts are redbud, peeled and unpeeled. The design includes 1 coil wide band at the base, followed by three main vertical polygon designs. The rim is plain wrapped and the rim coil ending is partially missing, and was blunt. The weft fag ends are clipped. The moving ends are primarily concealed. Most of the stitches are split on the back face. The basket has an exterior workface, the work direction is to the right, and the slant of weft twist is primarily down to the right.
