Round bucchero kyathos, engraved. Description from Matteucig (1951): Kyathos; height: 9.5 cm; height to top of handle: 16.5 cm; diameter: 11.7 cm (see Matteucig's plate XXI, 9). Heavy bucchero. Offset convex rim; convex sides, on low curving bottom; fillet between sides and bottom; high strap handle; narrow stem, with broad spreading foot. On rim, an incised zigzag, between two parallel incised lines; on handle, a crawling snake with head on each end; on top of handle, a pointed knob in raised fillet; inside rim, below handle, a human head in relief, with incised hair and details.
