Seed beater; twined. Warp and weft are Hazel (Corylus cornuta californica). Handle is Hazel bound with Hazel, padded with string wrapped in woolen manufactured cloth. Round deep basket in openwork twining. 6 rows of close twining at rim, remnant of handle is comm. twilled wool fabric over red. White cordage. Sewn closed with rawhide. Original splints which would be part of handle are missing.
