Description:

Hunting arrow. Native name: rruu'aq, rruq. Copper blade inserted into barbed antler foreshaft, the latter secured to the main wood shaft with twisted sinew; feathers at proximal notched end; sections of shaft painted red. Used with sinew backed bow to hunt caribou.
