Cross warp start, each crossing is 2 bundles of 3 warps that are bundled together by 3-4 weft stitches on each side. Entire basket is plain twining. From the start there are 3 or 4 stitches over 3 warps at each end of the start, followed by 2 rows of plain stitching over mostly 2 warps, followed by plain twining to the rim. The rim has 3 closely spaced weft rows of plain twining with trimmed edges. Warp sticks extend past the rim in a few places aprroximately 1/16 of an inch. Rightward work direction with an exterior work face. Parallel warp. Materials are peeled shoots. Basket is lacking any decorative design. Very little undulation. Openwork pan basket.
