Description:
METAL MINIATURE SCENE: Thought to be made in Europe. Silhouette made of molded metal of a bride and groom wetting out on a wagon, on which sits their 4-poster wedding bed and matching trunk & chest. Also a churn a wash tub, a spinning wheel, 2 chairs, 3 pans and a table. Wagon and furnishings are festooned with garlands and flowers as are the 2 white horses pulling the wagon. The newlyweds sit on the wagon’s seat, the man driving and the woman holding a bouquet of flowers. A craftsman in an apron holds a saw and stands behind the wagon. The scene is mounted on a ¼” wide base which has wide ends and an expanded center to facilitate standing upright. H=5.2 cm L=14.4cm W=1.0cm
