Basket; coiled. Warp is Willow (Salix), weft is Redbud (Cercis occidentalis). Black pattern is Brake fern (Pteris quilina). Wide-mouthed with sloping sides. Large and deep. Decoration: rectangular bands, in black, arranged in 4 columns around basket. Bottom of basket has been repaired.
