Hearst Museum object titled Basket, accession number 1-71070, described as Twined, cup. Per Ralph Shanks:  Twined basket cup with handle.   The base has three strand twining with one row of lattice twining, the sides are plain twined except for the top two rows which are three strand twining.  Hazel warp sticks.  Conifer root wefts, beargrass overlay, designs in maidenhair fern.  Designs are two sets of two parallelograms with one diamond on end of each pair.  Probably Atsugewi, but possibly Achumawi.
Hearst Museum object titled Basket, accession number 1-71073, described as Basketry pitcher, twined. Per Ralph Shanks:  Vase with handle.  Conifer root weft beargrass overlay for background.  Designs are maidenhair fern including anthropomorphic designs.  Both bottom and top rim is wrapped, typical of Atsugewi.  Plain twined except for a few bands of three strand twining.

Three strand twining at the base and plain twined on sides.  Warp sticks are probably hazel. Conifer root weft with beargrass overlay.  Black designs are maidenhair fern. Designs are various eight sided star patterns.  These designs are probably borrowed from beadwork or trade blanket designs.

Start is a cross-warped start wrapped with weft material.  Surrounding the start is three strand twining.  Remainder of basket is plain twining except top row which is three strand twining.  Double sided overlay.  Light colored background is beargrass.  Wefts are conifer root and warps are some time of shoot, maybe hazel.  Designs may be black-dyed redbud.  Designs include diamonds with crosses inside and triangles, both outlined with spiraling checkered stripes, in three clusters.  Atsugewi or Achumawi.

Hearst Museum object titled Bottle, accession number 1-71074, described as Basketry covered bottle, twined. Per Ralph Shanks:  Achumawi or Atsugewi.  Lid is missing.  Handle is loose, partially has been sewn back on.  Conifer root weft, beargrass overlay maidenhair fern for designs.  Designs include star pattern at the shoulder, stripes at the neck.  Three strand twining at base and neck, and rim of base is coiled for stability.  Most of basket is plain twining.  Basket appears used.
Hearst Museum object titled Bottle, accession number 1-71082, described as Basketry covered bottle, twined. Per Ralph Shanks: Tag: "28 label says Modoc 14X 5" but closely like L. J. Lee of Quincy #64, 83 Pitt River L.L.L.".  Achumawi or Atsugewi.  Conifer root weft, beargrass background overlay, maidenhair fern designs. Designs include cross bands at shoulder and base, and a quail plume design around middle of bottle.  Primarily plain twining, base has three strand twining, at shoulder lattice twining.  Cordage at top of neck, perhaps for repair.  Has separate cap.  Also has handle.

Closely like #83 Pitt River 13" height 5" diameter."  Per Ralph Shanks:  Bottle with handle and cap.  Bottle is not from Quincy.  Conifer root weft with beargrass overlay background with maidenhair fern designs.  Designs include butterfly.  Most of basket is plain twined, bottom is three strand twining.  Cap is also three strand twining. Designs are most like Atsugewi designs.

Per Ralph Shanks:  Base is three strand twining, side is plain twining, overlay is beargrass, and design is possibly black-dyed redbud.  Weft is conifer root. Reinforced, redbud wrapped rim.  Design is stepped.  Basket is stained on the exterior in several places. Weaver's hair woven into basket. Tag:"H CJ Lee Midano (crossed out and hard to read) by Kate 10" dia L.L.L.

Per Ralph Shanks: Base is three strand twining, side is plain twining, overlay is beargrass, and design is in redbud.  Warp sticks are probably hazel.  Warp sticks are irregularly broken off at rim.  Designs are four crosses with four smaller crosses within them as well as rectangles around top.
